Lake of the Ozarks State Park

Established in 1946, Lake of the Ozarks State Park is only a few miles from the Ranch and offers year-round activities to visitors. The 17,626-acre park is the largest state park in Missouri and includes multiple trails that wind through the picturesque land, perfect for hikers, bicyclists, backpackers, and equestrians. Many people venture to this park for its vast campground area, and convenient boat launching ramps.

Lee C. Fine Airport

Lee C. Fine Airport is only a few minutes from the Ranch. With a 6,500’ runway, this private air-port can accommodate nearly any size private aircraft. For added convenience this air-port includes hanger access, taxiways, fueling service, aircraft parking and tie down.

Shopping at the Resort Communities of Lake of the Ozarks

There are several bustling resort towns all around the Lake of the Ozarks, including; Osage Beach and the City of Lake Ozark. These communities offer extraordinary shopping opportunities. The Osage Beach Premium Outlet Mall boasts 114 stores and is very popular with visitors. There are also numerous other shopping areas scattered throughout the entire area and include everything from specialty boutique shops to the larger big box stores you would expect to find in any flourishing community.

Dining, Lodging & Marina’s

The Lake is known for it’s numerous restaurants with a local flair. No doubt you will find all the usual chain restaurants, but the local eateries are the real treat. Everything from fine dining restaurants, to dozens of water-front bar and grill dining. The lake also provides thousands of hotel rooms in several different hotels and resorts all around the lake. You don’t have to own a waterfront home or condo to own any size boat your heart desires; there are numerous marinas on the lake that lease boat slips.

Recreation & Entertainment

No doubt boating is one of the most popular recreation activities in the area, but there are certainly many more. With hundreds of miles of scenic roads winding throughout the Ozark Hills, motorcycling enthusiasts and many sport car clubs find the Lake of the Ozarks a touring paradise. With 15 Golf Courses, it goes without saying that Golf is a very popular recreation activity at the Lake. Pretty much whatever you enjoy, you will find it at the Lake of the Ozarks. Go-cart tracks, water park, art galleries, and wineries. And; there is never a shortage of live music entertainment and great concerts.

Schools & Education

The two major school districts at the Lake of the Ozarks; Camdenton R-III and School of the Osage are ranked among the top ten academically statewide. The graduation rate for both school’s averages at least 95 percent, nearly 10 points higher than the statewide average. More than 75 percent of graduates also go on to higher education facilities.
